Technological complex BOMBUS™
IL100-16


Complex is designed for reinforcing treatment of metalware welds by method of surface plastic deformation at ultrasonic frequency (ultrasonic impact treatment - hereinafter UIT).

 

UIT takes comprehensive action on weld:

  • reduce load stress concentration in weld;
  • form at treating surface reinforced layer with increased crack resistance;
  • advantageous redistribute residual stresses in weld and near-weld area;
  • increase number of cycles to failure of weld to basic metal level;
  • increase corrosion resistance of treated surface.

Depth of reinforced layer for different alloys and steels reaches 1,5 - 2,0 mm.

Complex is designed for using at manufacturing of new products and for repair activity.

 

Complex includes:

  • power unit №1;
  • power unit №2;
  • ultrasonic impact tool №1 with connecting cable and hoses of cooling system (hereinafter tool №1);
  • ultrasonic impact tool №2 with connecting cable and hoses of cooling system (hereinafter tool №2);
  • spare parts kit.

Operation of tool for UIT is based on impact effect of impact pins with ultrasonic frequency on treated material for the purpose of structure transformation and plastic deformation of surface layer.

Ultrasonic technological complex BOMBUS™ can be completed in the following compositions depending on Customer's tasks:

  •           power unit №1, tool №1, spare parts kit;
  • NEW power unit №1, tool №2, spare parts kit;
  • NEW power unit №2, tool №1, spare parts kit;
  • NEW power unit №2, tool №2, spare parts kit.

 

Tool №1 is designed basically for treatment of thermal influence area borders of weld, for example for making of "groove" and also for treatment of metalware tight areas. Under this treatment productivity of tool is 2-4 m/min.

 

NEW Tool №2 is designed for treatment of large metalware areas, for example of weld heat-affected zone. Under this treatment productivity of tool is higher 2-3 times as large than tool №1 has.

 

Ultrasonic technological set for deformation reinforcing and relaxation treatment and its component parts are protected by patents RU №43491, №41649 and №2266805. Sole right of authors for utility model is protected by Russian patent law from 23.09.1992 №3517-1.
